How to see how much data is in Zoho Desk

  1. Sign in to Zoho Desk
  2. Open Tickets and switch the view to All Tickets (include closed)
  3. Note the total ticket count shown for the view
  4. Open Customers → Contacts and Accounts and note those totals too

Zoho Desk does not document a storage page; record ticket, contact and account counts instead.

How to get a copy of your Zoho Desk data

  1. Sign in as the primary contact
  2. Open Setup → Data Administration → Data Backup
  3. Choose Full Backup (or Custom Backup)
  4. Click Download Now
  5. Download the ZIP from Backup History within 7 days

The primary contact can go to Setup → Data Administration → Data Backup and choose Full Backup or Custom Backup. The download is a ZIP of CSV files covering tickets, threads, contacts, accounts and more, and you collect it from Backup History.

Attachments are included only as links, not files. After a full backup you must wait 30 days to run another, and download links expire after 7 days.

Zoho Desk’s official export instructions

These instructions are written by DataFrenzy from each vendor’s public help pages. Menu names can vary by plan and change over time; the official link on each guide is the final word. Screenshots come from each vendor’s own help pages and videos or, where noted, from third-party tutorials credited under the image; dashed outlines are illustrations, not screenshots. Looking up a size or preparing an export never sends anything to DataFrenzy.
