How to see how much data is in Stripe

  1. Sign in to the Stripe Dashboard
  2. Open Transactions (Payments) and set the date filter to all time
  3. Note the number of payments
  4. Open Customers and Subscriptions and note those totals

Stripe has no storage page; record payment, customer and subscription counts and the years covered.

How to get a copy of your Stripe data

  1. Sign in to the Stripe Dashboard as an admin
  2. Open the Transactions page
  3. Filter by date range and payment type
  4. Click Export and choose columns
  5. Download the CSV

From the Dashboard's Transactions page, filter by date and click Export to choose columns and download a CSV. For accounting, Stripe recommends the Balance Summary report, which can export an itemized CSV.

The itemized PDF only shows the first 5,000 rows, so use CSV for full history; fees can take up to 96 hours to appear.

Stripe’s official export instructions

These instructions are written by DataFrenzy from each vendor’s public help pages. Menu names can vary by plan and change over time; the official link on each guide is the final word. Screenshots come from each vendor’s own help pages and videos or, where noted, from third-party tutorials credited under the image; dashed outlines are illustrations, not screenshots. Looking up a size or preparing an export never sends anything to DataFrenzy.
