How to see how much data is in Infor

  1. Confirm which Infor CloudSuite product you use
  2. Ask your Infor administrator or partner for the database size
  3. Ask for record counts on key tables (customers, orders, invoices, items)
  4. Note the size and the years of history covered

Infor doesn't show storage to normal users; the size usually comes from your administrator, Infor partner or Infor Cloud support.

How to get a copy of your Infor data

  1. Open the form (collection) with the data
  2. Filter it to the records you need
  3. Choose Actions → To Excel
  4. Answer the column-order prompt
  5. The CSV saves to your Documents folder and opens in Excel

Infor has many CloudSuite products, and exports vary by product. In CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine), open a form and use Actions → To Excel to save the data as a CSV file. Form → Export to File can export all records that match a filter. An administrator or Infor partner usually handles larger exports.

To Excel only exports the data loaded in the current form, and some forms don't have the option turned on.

Infor’s official export instructions

These instructions are written by DataFrenzy from each vendor’s public help pages. Menu names can vary by plan and change over time; the official link on each guide is the final word. Screenshots come from each vendor’s own help pages and videos or, where noted, from third-party tutorials credited under the image; dashed outlines are illustrations, not screenshots. Looking up a size or preparing an export never sends anything to DataFrenzy.
