How to see how much data is in Hootsuite

  1. Sign in to Hootsuite
  2. Open Analytics and choose Post performance
  3. Set the time frame to the full period you keep
  4. Note the number of published posts (export to CSV for an exact count on Business or Enterprise)

Record published posts per year; Hootsuite shows no storage figure, and the view lists only the latest 100 posts on screen.

How to get a copy of your Hootsuite data

  1. Sign in as a super admin (Enterprise plan)
  2. Go to My profile → Account settings, preferences, and billing
  3. Choose Data Exporting
  4. Select a date range
  5. Download the file

On Enterprise plans, super admins can go to My profile → Account settings, preferences, and billing → Data Exporting to download the organization's post data. Inbox and Impact reports export as CSV.

Organization-wide export is Enterprise-only, and some analytics exports are capped (Impact allows 500 rows).

Hootsuite’s official export instructions

These instructions are written by DataFrenzy from each vendor’s public help pages. Menu names can vary by plan and change over time; the official link on each guide is the final word. Screenshots come from each vendor’s own help pages and videos or, where noted, from third-party tutorials credited under the image; dashed outlines are illustrations, not screenshots. Looking up a size or preparing an export never sends anything to DataFrenzy.
