Data guides
Evernote: see how much data you have, then export it.
Pick a system to see two things: how to check how much data is in it, and how to export a copy. No form, no sign-in.

How to see how much data is in Evernote
- Sign in to Evernote on the web
- Open your account settings → Account Summary
- Note the Account usage figure
- Click Notes in the sidebar and note the number of notes
Evernote only shows monthly upload use, not total storage; record the number of notes and notebooks instead; notes in the Trash still count.

How to get a copy of your Evernote data
- Open the Evernote desktop app
- Select a notebook or notes
- Right-click and select Export…
- Choose ENEX or HTML and the attributes to include
- Click Export
In the Evernote desktop app for Mac or Windows, select a notebook or notes, right-click and choose Export…, then pick ENEX or HTML.
Export doesn't work on Evernote Web and is limited to 100 notes or whole notebooks at a time, so each user exports notebook by notebook.
These instructions are written by DataFrenzy from each vendor’s public help pages. Menu names can vary by plan and change over time; the official link on each guide is the final word. Screenshots come from each vendor’s own help pages and videos or, where noted, from third-party tutorials credited under the image; dashed outlines are illustrations, not screenshots. Looking up a size or preparing an export never sends anything to DataFrenzy.
