How to see how much data is in Dialpad

  1. Sign in to the Dialpad Admin Portal as an admin
  2. Go to Analytics and choose your office or a group
  3. Set the date range to cover all the history you need
  4. Open the Call Count Breakdown and note Total Calls

Dialpad shows no storage figure; record total calls for the period, and note that admin call recordings are not included in the standard Recordings export.

How to get a copy of your Dialpad data

  1. Sign in to the Dialpad Admin Portal
  2. Select Analytics and filter the data
  3. Select Export (.csv)
  4. Choose a report such as Call logs
  5. Select Send report and download the CSV from the email link

Admins can go to the Admin Portal → Analytics, filter the data, then choose Export (.csv) and pick a report such as Call logs. Dialpad emails a link to the CSV file.

The Text logs, Voicemails and Recordings exports are off by default and need Dialpad Customer Care to turn them on. They contain links to MP3 files rather than the audio itself.

Dialpad’s official export instructions

These instructions are written by DataFrenzy from each vendor’s public help pages. Menu names can vary by plan and change over time; the official link on each guide is the final word. Screenshots come from each vendor’s own help pages and videos or, where noted, from third-party tutorials credited under the image; dashed outlines are illustrations, not screenshots. Looking up a size or preparing an export never sends anything to DataFrenzy.
